Oct 7, 1959 until June 1960, passed away in an automobile accident in 1960, buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia.
Lt.Col. Lou Alford - USAF Retired - then-Major Alford served at Loring AFB in 1972-1974, passed away in 1983.

Cindy Barnes Bosley - wife of MSgt. Dennis Bosley, USAF retired, passed away April 7, 2007. Cindy is a native of Caribou,
Maine and is buried in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou.
MSgt. Ralph Brennan - USAF Retired - a First Sergeant for many years of the 42 Trans Sq. in the late 80's and early 90's.
Passed away in Limestone in 2005.
SSgt. Terry L. Bunnell - Loring AFB 42nd MMS 1986-1992, passed away February 7, 2008. Buried in the Wells River
Cemetery in Wells River, Vermont.

Delaware, Ohio.

SSgt. Henry T. Spivey - 3080th Aviation Depot Group's Support Squadron (later East Loring), a Senior Baker, 1955-1960 - a 22-
year veteran of the Air Force, born in Hertford, North Carolina in 1923, passed away on January 19, 2000. He is buried in
Cedarwood Cemetery in Hertford, North Carolina. His name is also on a memorial brick walk at Perquimans County Courthouse in
Hertford, a memorial to U.S. Veterans from the county.

Charles Stetler - 42nd Airborne Missile Maintenance Squadron
SSgt. Alpha Suire - a 14 year veteran of the Air Force whose last assignment was at the USAF Hospital at Loring AFB in the late
50's and Early 60's. He was a Med Tech. He left the Air Force in 1962 and remained in Northern Maine residing in Caswell.
During the 80's he worked as a Civilian in the AGE Branch and later for a contractor as a grounds keepers until the base closure.
He was buried Thursday July 17th, 2008, at the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou.

SSgt. John I. Way, Sr. - USAF Retired - 42nd Combat Support Group at Loring from June 1969 to June 1971. Previous to
Loring, he served in Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Germany, Vietnam again, Sheppard AFB, and finally Loring, after which he retired to
Delaware, staying near Dover AFB, passed away in March of 2003 and is buried in The Delaware Veterans Cemetery in Millsboro,
Delaware.
Evelyn M. Willey - of Harrington, Maine, wife of Alonzo C. Willey Sr., passed away in December, 2005, and is buried in
Prospect Harbor Cemetery, Gouldsboro, Maine.
